Do you know about all of the different things you can do using the Paste Special options when you copy data? Here are a few of the options you will find on the Paste Special Dialogue box. You might be surprise with what they can do.
Operation (add, subtract, multiply, divide) – These options all work in the same manor. They allow you to add, subtract, multiply or divide a copied cell to a selected cell range.
Skip blanks –Use this when you want to past a copied range of data over top of an existing range of data. This option avoids replacing values in your paste area when blanks occur in the copy area.
Transpose –Will switch data that is in a column to a row, or switch data that is in a row to a column.
Paste Link – Connects the copy cell range with the pasted cell range.
