Most people who use Excel are familiar with Wrap Text. This is the command that is often used when you want text to appear on multiple lines within a single cell. When using Wrap Text, the text that appears on each line is dictated by the width of the cell. Occasionally, you may find that you want the text to be broken in a way that will not work with the width of your cell. When this happens, you can use the keyboard shortcut ALT + Enter. ALT + Enter will create a line break at a specific point in a cell regardless of the cells width.
