MDE files in Access 2007

A question came up in class the other day about .mde files created in previous versions of Access and how Access 2007 handles them. After class I found a few resources that may be helpful for those who are facing something similar. Microsoft has a help article about file format at: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/access/HA100678311033.aspx that introduces the new .accde file extension as comparable to the .mde file format. The Microsoft TechNet article at: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc178973.aspx discusses migration considerations for .mde files when using Access 2007.
